Dispatches Memorial Day Sale

Hello to all
my ASL Comrades. To celebrate Memorial Day and all this
Holiday
means I'm putting all our pdf. and Paper Issue Bundles on sale
and here is
how it works.

All
Dispatches Issues have been converted to pdf. file format with a Huge
effort by my
Printing MVP Ralph McDonald. I do have a limited number
of Paper
Issues available as well, more on those a little farther down.

The usual
cost for a Digital The WORKs Order (All 36 Issues plus a 4 Issue
Subscription
starting with current Issue #36) is $60.00. Now through
Memorial Day
they will be $50.00. That is 39 Issues in total and over
100
Scenarios! That is less than $.50 cents a scenario, which is a pretty
good deal,
whether it is 2013 or 1993.

I do still
have a limited number of Paper Issues #34, 35 & 36, a 4 Issue
Subscription
including those 2 Back Issues is normally +$20.00, through
Memorial Day
it is $16.00

As for the
individual pdf. issues, if the Issue you are looking to purchase
has all
origina

No. Non-CC RF can only be performed in an OVR Location.

Yes, assuming the pass any PAATC the need to take.

Japanese,

A23.61 seems to say no.

and told me to go ahead if I had any other takers...I have
thought about for a week and I am deciding to accept
the next offer (which was yours!).

If you're still up for it, FB is open.

At the previous taker's request, due to unfamiliarity
with FB, we were gonna do a regular scenario first.
I have looked at a lot of it, and got well into one of
the scenarios - I think I can wing it at this point,
but, if you want to do a scenario first, that would
be fine with me.

What a pleasant surprise!
I emailed that AAR over 2 months ago and figured it went out then. Did it?
I'm wondering why it got sent out to the ASLML now?...
Maybe it was routed through Congress.

Looking forward to the next WCM!!!

Hi Guys -

I had a great time at West Coast Melee (as always).
Thank you to everyone who makes it happen, and to all my opponents.
My top 5 WCM XVI moments (see attached pic):

5. Driving to WCM, when that feeling finally hits that, yes, I really
am off to 4 days of playing ASL. YeeHaw!

4. Receiving the personalized plaque for doing well at last year's WCM
XV just as I was being beaten and thus eliminated from WCM XVI.
Definitely mitigated my anguish.

3. Seeing Paul's ASL T-shirt quilt, composed of 8 past WCM shirt
designs and accoutrements. Finally, something to do with my 30+ ASL
shirts! I sense a business opportunity here...

2. Presenting Jim Aikens with the present we all signed expressing our
tremendous gratitude for him being such a great and long-serving club
president.

1. Getting to hang out and play ASL with so many long time ASL buddies
(most of whom have eyesight in decline, can't stay up past 11 pm, and
wouldn't want to be anywhere else - just like me!).

Thanks again guys - see you next year

Not getting any immediate takers on my recent

opponent for a playing of the Operation
Watchtower (Edson’s Ridge) CG, I am
going old-fashioned and posting on

I am also interested in doing the Festung

I prefer a reasonably experienced ASLer

I'm afraid I must give my regrets. None of the other NS guys are able to
attend, and I have plans to go to a re-enacting event at Louisbourg in July.
When I sat down and priced it out, I realized I couldn't afford both that
and CASLO.

Best wishes for a successful tourney. Looks like a great turnout so far.

my ASLl Comrades. In the wake of Dispatches from the Bunker
#36 shipping
out just after the Nor'Easter tournament, we now have all
Dispatches
Back Issues available as pdf. files.

This latest
issue is going to be the last paper issue that I will be mailing
out as we
transition to pdf. file format going forward. I have run out of almost
all the
paper back-issues, all that is left are #34, #35 & new Issue #36.
Anyone
looking to grab them before they are gone, see ordering Info down
towards the
bottom of this update.

Speaking of
pdf. issues, through a ton of help from Ralph McDonald, we now
have all
Dispatches Back Issues available at a nominal charge. Any issue
that has
all original content still in it is $3.00, any issue that saw something
re-published
by MMP will have that page removed, and an informational page
in its place
telling you what MMP publication to find it in, those issues are
just $2.00
Each (#01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08. 10, 13, 16, 17, 18 & 19).

BBQ? Love it, but if you're going to be there, look up Joe T Garcia's in Ft
Worth. Best Mexican restaurant in the world!

Scott Palter of West End Games introduced me to Joe T's back 25 years ago.
Loved it.

A few years later, our oldest was recruited by SMU. First night down there,
I told his roommate's parents I'd take the boys to Joe T's for their last
good meal. The father said when they moved to the area, he asked his boss

restaurant in the world!"

The father objected, saying he had been to Mexico City! He admitted after

I got lost taking the boys there. Pulled into a gas station and asked for

Looks like I'll be in town from the 14th through 18th. Please contact me
offline if you're up for a match and we'll see what we can schedule.

Was sad to see the stRangers will be away that week, but perhaps people
might like to recommend their favorite places for pit barbeque. I plan to
get me some o' that tender brisket.

Cheers!

I think my sub was up last time but I did playtest "the Police station" for

Will of course renew in the digital only world as the opportunity arises

Hello to all
my ASL Comrades. I am very glad to announce that
Dispatches
from the Bunker #36 will be shipping out by Thursday
this week
after getting it published for this past weekend's Nor'Easter
tournament.
(What a glorious event it was, great time!).

This latest
issue is going to be the last paper issue that I will be mailing
out as we
transition to pdf. file format going forward.
Again, see
ordering
Info below. Please e-mail me before ordering the pdf. issues on what
I can do for
you price wise.

We have the
usual 4 scenarios for #36 and here they are:

(blushing) thanks!

Only if you correct my typo (I used the correct value in the actual
calculation:

5/6 * 5/6 * 5/6 = 25/216;

should be:

5/6 * 5/6 * 5/6 = 125/216;

This error would ruin my credibility :-D

Cheers,
Alain
