Has it been years? Oy vey!  Seems like days.  We're surely alive and well in Illinois.  Sorry you were worried.  Ben is fine and in a high school program now.  I won't be saying where, etc, due to privacy concerns with the list and all.  But, he's great.  Getting used to using an iPad which his uncle generously gave to him.  He is still very interested in communicating with songs/song lyrics/clips of audio etc.  Communication on iPad and Dynavox device is otherwise very functional at this point.  He likes high school but the days are long and he gets very tired.  He relies on hand support at times (when he is very tired or in a hurry.)  He is still grooving on Christmas and pl&lt;/pre&gt;</description>

&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;A hero in the autism community  has the opportunity to win a NASCAR Foundation Humanitarian Award which will  contribute $100,000 to an Autism School she founded.&amp;amp;nbsp; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;
&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;What is her most significant  contribution to the Autism community so far?  &amp;lt;span class="bold"&amp;gt;&amp;lt;span&amp;gt;She has been instrumental in getting health insurance to  cover the cost of intensive ABA services!&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;

  &amp;lt;li&amp;gt;She wrote a law in  South Carolina that requires health insurance providers to cover ABA services.&amp;lt;/li&amp;gt;
