I'm having a look at biblatex's documentation file --- I think this package wasn't around,
when I started the work on my thesis ;) --- but unfortunately biblatex seems to be
incompatible with multibib, which I use as well...

So I'd rather appreciate hints or workarounds using jurabib.

Biblatex makes such modifications as you want it comparatively easy.

    <description>Dear group

I'm looking for a solution to the following problem:

I've added the special field 'shorttitle' to all of my entries in my bib-file.
I'm using it as shorttitle in references and would like it to appear in the
bibliography, as well.

An example (I'm using the bibstyle 'jurabib'):

&lt; at &gt;book{andre-1956,
Address = {Paris},
Author = {Jacques Andr{\'e}},
Shorttitle = {Andr{\'e} 1956},
Year = {1956}}

The following bibliography entry is generated:
Jacques André, Lexique des termes de botanique en latin, Paris 1956.

This is fine so far, but I'd like to put the shorttitle I defined right in front
of it:
1956.

I suppose the 'jurabib.bst'-file has to be modified...

Can anybody give me some advice?

Yours, David

Yes. I am using Jurabib for a slightly deviant project: building a CV.
Fullcite references appears as listed items---as they would in the
reference list at the end of a traditional paper---and need the final
period.
I suppose it's not supported, and understandably so given the slightly
deviant nature of my project. I will just add the periods manually,
then.
Thanks for the quick feedback, and congratulations again for the great program.

    <description>Hello,

I was wondering is someone may help me with the following problem:

Is it possible to convince Jurabib to display the full bibliographic
information of articles, incollections and inbooks, inclusing page numbers,
in a citation?
To make things clearer, let's say I have the ref:

&lt; at &gt;ARTICLE{Franchi2007,
  author = {Stefano Franchi},
  title = {My Great Article},
  journal = {The Philosophy Journal},
  year = {2007},
  volume = {1},
  pages = {10--20},
  number = {4},
  language = {english}
}

I would like to enter

\fullcite{Franchi2007}

and  have jurabib produce

Stefano Franchi, My Great Article, The Philosophy Journal, 1:4 (2007), 10-20.

whereas jurabib produces

Stefano Franchi, My Great Article, The Philosophy Journal, 1:4 (2007).

Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

Hallo an alle,

schreiben darf, ich versuche es einfach mal (and if I'm wrong, please see the English
translation below…).

normaler Schrift erscheinen.

Beispiel:

Geppert, Martin et al. (Hrsg.): Beck'scher TKG-Kommentar, 3. Auflage,
M &amp;#776;unchen 2006.

Masing, Johannes: Bla bla bla blub, in: Schmidt, Hans et. al. (Hrsg.), Bla bla

    <description>Hi all!

I just have a quick question: how can I suppress any editors in the
bibliography? In some "Inproceedings", I have filled out the editor
field, however, that is not the case with every entry in my bib file.
Sometimes / pretty often, I could not find out who the editor was. As I
want to have a certain consistency throughout my bibliography, I decided
to not list the editors at all. But how do I do that?

Thanks for any help!

I have a strange bug on my Mac with jurabib/latex.

If I make citations with \citep everything is ok.

If I use \cite the output text has an extra space before the citation.

If I use a fresh windows instalation on a PC everything is ok.

I already reinstalled tex on the mac.

Any clues to where should I look?

Sure. This is verging on off-topic, but for the sake of archiving the
relevant information, here it is.

In preamble:
\usepackage[bibstyle=authortitle,citestyle=authortitle-cverb]{biblatex}

\DeclareBibliographyDriver{article}{%

You should not use 'oxford' option without using jox.bst too.
At the moment, 'oxford' overrides your \renewcommand. At first, remove
the 'oxford' option.
But be aware: There is a known problem with double periods, you will get
'Copi, Irving M..'
There is no solution for this problem except reversing author names.

This double period is one of the major problems left untouched, because
jurabib has to be rewritten completely, like TeX in the 70s.
