Middle clicking a bookmark should open the bookmark in a new tab/window
(depending on your settings).

On 04/08/12 08:56 pm, Rubens thus wrote :
The way I do it is via the middle mouse button. I've just gotten used to
opening things this way. It works for bookmarks and for links on pages.

To set this, either:

 1. In about:config, set browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick to true; or
 2. In the Preferences UI under Browser | Tabbed Browsing | Open tabs
instead of windows for &amp;gt; Middle-click, Ctrl+click or Ctrl+Enter on
    links in a Web page.

HTH

There is still much of Multizilla which I miss these days.

    <description>&lt;pre&gt;Hello all,

A long time ago, when using SeaMonkey 1.1.19 altogether with the
Multizilla extension,
it was possible to open bookmarks directly into a new tab, without
affecting any
previously opened tabs.

Is there there any add-on or configuration which can maintain this behaviour
in Seamonkey 2.8 ?

Thanks,

For me now I'm using Firefox4, with the Tree Style Tab add-on.
Thunderbird for mail/news. Never used the Seamonkey HTML editor so I
don't miss that anyway.

I really prefer the left-side vertical tabs now, after just a day or
two of using it it felt natural. But you can also set tabs to be on
top/bottom/right also if you prefer..

So far I was not able to find extension which would:
- make tabs on the BOTTOM
- redirect Ctrl-N to "open new tab" instead of opening new window
- be able to configure new tab and fous behavior (e.g. "open new tab at
right side of tab", "close tab will switch focus to left side tab")

You could itemize which multizilla functions are most important to you.

In the mean time I'd list:
Session Manager
Duplicate Tab
Tab Clicking Options
Sea TabX (close button on each tab).

Does anyone have a list of plugins which work together?

In case it wasn't clear one of the links on that page is:
"3. Do a CVS Checkout"
To the cvs source control system where the multizilla source resides.
But the problem isn't access to the source. It needs someone who
understands the code and how to fix it. By and large the people who
understand how the tabbrowser code work either already have their own
tabbrowser extensions (Tab Utilities, TabMixPlus) or are now working on
the Firefox tabbrowser code itself. Me, my current plan is to (slowly)
add the Multizilla features I use to the SeaMonkey tabbrowser code itself.

There should be a batch file somewhere in the source code that builds
the installer.

You could email HJ and ask for developer access to the multizilla cvs,
or ask if he agrees for someone to take over the project and copy the
source to SourceForge or GitHub or BitBucket. And good luck. There is
two years worth of bit rot in the code that you or someone needs to
modernize.

Hmmm, did not know that.

But a Source Forge project implies that it can be modified, source

I think that all we really want is an installer (at least that is my
hope) rather than extra features.

yeah, it seems it can't be done that way. However,
make sure the tab you want to change is in focus, then
right click on the tabbar {not the tab itself}, then
select Toolbars, Customize Tab Label, and a popup will
appear. You can change it from there. Or, a quicker

It was great and very useful project. For me using Mozilla Suite and
