El tipo tambien hizo su archivito de grabaciones de Amiga... mas de 100k
mp3, grabados dos veces por supuesto asi que el total anda mas o menos por
los 2^18 archivos...

Dicho sea de paso, eso que suena ahi en el video es mp3 on the fly...

Hace unos años se las ingeniaron para pasar 4 canales de audio y no me
acuerdo que mas, un disparate.  Busca cosas que haya hecho 'fanta', por
ejemplo esto:

- 4 channels of 8-bit samplerate, digi playback
- 2 channels of SID synth sound
- You can filter both SID channels AND SAMPLES!
- And you have enough rastertime to not being forced to turn off the
screen, and can actually do something with it ;)

Todo eso con un SID...

Tengo un conocido que hace demos de 4kb en el browser, y desde ya casi que
se las descalifican porque no tienen sonido (todavia).

Al parecer no le daban mucha bola en VMWare, seguro que compraron
GemStone Systems por GemFire y a GemStone/S lo dejaron muy de lado.

Un poco lo que le pasó a VisualAge Smalltalk cuando IBM se volcó a (o
volcó con?) Java.

Entiendo que es una buena noticia.

Seguramente ahora con GemTalk GemStone/S sea lo que VAST es con
Instantiations. La definición de qué es, "la dejo a tu criterio".
