Hi. I've written a code (which work on windows) that listen to a broadcast. but i do not receive any data. My code : io_service io_service; udp::socket localUdpSocket(io_service); localUdpSocket.open(udp::v4()); localUdpSocket.set_option(udp::socket::reuse_address(true)); localUdpSocket.bind(udpLocalEP); boost::asio::ip::multicast::join_group option(addrIP, address_v4::from_string(local_ip)); localUdpSocket.set_option(option); while (1) { boost::array recv_buf; udp::endpoint sender_endpoint; boost::system::error_code error; size_t len = localUdpSocket.receive( boost::asio::buffer(recv_buf), 0, error); std::cout << recv_buf[0]; } But i do not receive any data. (i never return from function receive). if i do not using boost, i receive the broad cast. if i use the above code on windows, i receive broadcast.
