I was trying to apply a patch generated from the git status page but it failed from both Orion and the git command line. Then I realized that when I copied the patch contents from the browser, there was no EOF. After I added the EOF, the "apply patch" worked. This is a small trick but without knowing that, the "generate patch -&gt; apply it" will never work properly. I added a quick section here[1]. Our users of the engine struggle a bit with: downloading our example zip, putting new content to the correct location and using a local HTTP server to see their changes because of the security limitations on working with local files in the browser ( file://... ) Eclipse Orion seems like the perfect fit, because it can provide a WebGL quick start template ( at least in 2.0 ;-) and also because of the "sites" feature.
