Then if you typing at one keyboard, it's OK... but if you press key at other one, then that input freezes.. and you can't type anything until you leave and return back to that "freez</pre>

Initial Comment:
Hi all,
I'm trying to build an RPM of scim-1.4.9 for Suse 11.1. I use rpmbuild -ta scim-1.4.9.tar.gz. I manage to compile and install but when I try to install scim-tables-0.5.8-1.14.x86_64.rpm it keeps on telling me :
error: Failed dependencies:
        libscim-1.0.so.8(LIBSCIM_1.0)(64bit) is needed by scim-tables-0.5.8-1.14.x86_64

Any ideas ?

Before i commented the code below ,
my typing had been consistently interrupted by a pop-up-window or something like that .
Those windows quickly take focus and quickly disappear to take our attention , however , our key focuses are never returned .

Summary: Yawerty table is double-encoded

Initial Comment:
The Cyrillic characters in Yawerty.txt.in are double-UTF8-encoded.

For example, it contains

STATUS_PROMPT = Я

but that line should be

STATUS_PROMPT = Я

It appears to have been broken with this changeset:

http://scim.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/scim/scim-tables/trunk/tables/ru/Yawerty.txt.in?r1=93&amp;r2=262

Summary: kdedesktop_lock crashes when SCIM input is on

Initial Comment:
I have SCIM Japanese input on and lock my KDE desktop. Then, when a key is pressed or mouse is moved, a dialog to unlock the desktop appears. Even if I do not input anything to enter the password and only click on the cancel button, the dialog disappears, but after moving a mouse or pressing a key, kdedesktop_lock crashes and leaves the desktop unlocked. This happens with </pre>

Summary: SCIM doesn't work rightly, when use KDE programmes in Gnome.

Initial Comment:
Hello.
I'm dvorak layout user on GNOME. And I'm using SCIM to type East Asian languages.
In default setting, SCIM doesn't works rightly on dvorak layout.
To use SCIM on dvorak layout, I should open 'SCIM Input Method Setup' window, and change Keybroad layout setting to Dvorak. So it works on GNOME programme, but it still doesn't work on KDE programme.
I'm just tested with Korean language. So I'm not sure other keybo</pre>

Summary: Segfault when loading SCIM module in some applications

Initial Comment:
There are a couple of applications that encounter a segfault when loading a SCIM module immediately on startup. The original application I have been having problems with is bsnes. (http://byuu.org/bsnes/) When trying to find a similar application (using the same underlying libraries) that exhibits this behavior I discovered hedgewars (http://www.hedgewars.org/) which also segfaults in th</pre>

Summary: SCIM segfaults during startup

Initial Comment:
Trying to launch SCIM fails due to a segfault, gdb can't get a backtrace, it simply says "no stack".
I tried version 1.4.5 and 1.4.7, same result for both.

I'm using Gentoo linux with kernel 2.6.23, XFCE 4.4, Xorg 1.4 on a unicode system (x86 arch).

Attached are the command line outputs of three different attempts to start SCIM with different arguments.
Each time SCIM segfault it leaves an entry in the log of th</pre>

Summary: Freeze on Typing

Initial Comment:
When using scim as input method, quite often typing suddenly doesn't work. I'll have to click somewhere else and back there to get to type again. This happens when I'm not using the pinyin input method. This resolves when I change the input method back to none.

Install :
$sudo apt-get install scim-qtimm im-switch scim-pinyin
$im-switch -z en_US -s scim

Using Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

Summary: For [JP], candidates lookup table should default to vertical

Initial Comment:
from https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/39626

"In case of Japanese input, candidates look up table should be vertical by default.
This is because Japanese candidates table tend to be longer Chinese and Korean's one, so it's too wide to look up using horizontal table. Vertical lookup table is used on Windows and Mac Japanese Edition.

In Chinese and Korean case, it's good to set horizontal look up by default, so this is confl</pre>

Summary: Compose key doesn't work with scim-bridge-qt4

Initial Comment:
When using scim-bridge-qt4 immodule I can't use Compose key to type special characters like euro-sign or letters like ø, ó, á (which are typed by pressing Compose key and / and then o, for example).

It works fine with gtk-im-module in gtk applications:

This works:
XMODIFIERS="&lt; at &gt;im=SCIM" GTK_IM_MODULE="scim-bridge" QT_IM_MODULE="scim-bridge" gedit

However with qt immodule t</pre>

Summary: "ctrl-&gt;shift-&gt;release shift-&gt;release ctrl" doesn't work

Initial Comment:
when pressing Ctrl+Shift to switch IM in this way:
Press Ctrl -&gt; Press Shift -&gt; Release Ctrl -&gt; Release Shift
the IM will not be switched (however this works in Windows). This means a Windows user who is used to strike "ctrl+shift" together quickly will likely to experience "lag"s.

It would be better if such a sequence can be supported. Also, it seems I can't customize the key sequence in this way in the config wi</pre>
