Hi Jorge

The style depends on your preference and also on your language. Title Case is used in some software programs, but not in all in English. In Dutch, for example, its use is rare.

I do not know what it is like in Spanish. As a native Dutch speaker, I would have made the same correction for Dutch.

The casing rules are in no way mandatory, but usability experiences suggest that one style should be used consistently.

Hope this was helpful, even though not conclusive :).

I´m a contributor for spanish translation (at translatewiki.net).

I´ve translated (as an example) :

$s_copy_users = 'Copy Users';
to
$s_copy_users = 'Copiar Usuarios';

Somebody changed that (Mantis 1.2.9) to
$s_copy_users = 'Copiar usuarios';

My question is: there is a english-only style on which the case of all
words is fine? Or should be used this way on all languages as a way to
emphasize the phrase?

Regards!

There is another string for the same field: $s_timestamp (title header
of the list of versions when editing a project at
manage_proj_edit_page.php). The same field is used with $s_released in
changelog, and with $s_scheduled_release at roadmap.

Maybe should be translated the same as "timestamp" at
manage_proj_ver_edit_page.php?

Thanks Roland.

I think I am one of those who did it the wrong way (German translation)

This date is some kind of timestamp (meant as the date where a version is released) but at the same time this seems to be the date which is used for the ordering of the versions in changelog (is this the reason why there is the word "order"?)

Maybe the English should be: "Releasedate" with the additional information "affects ordering of changelog"

but don't really now

regards
Roland

I think $s_date_order is used in manage_proj_ver_edit_page.php, but I´m
not sure what it means.

All languages I can "understand" (and myself also for spanish) translate
"Order by date" (Orden por Fecha), but this makes no sense at all ...
which means that date in context?

Regards!

Hi Siebrand, are we in some sort of "string freeze"? I have a small
plugins related patch to push which includes a couple new strings.

If we are frozen I can push to master only.
