You'd probably be better off just downloading the latest version of
Source Integration plugin from

https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/source-integration

It has an updated HgWeb plugin (written by David Hicks) which I bundled
a few months ago.

Report issues you may have, or even better submit a Pull Request with
fixes directly on Github.

<pre>The original Meta plugin was rolled into the Source Integration framework a
long time ago. You could try modifying the hgwebplugin.php file to remove
the meta requirement, and see if that works for you. Otherwise, the only
copy of the old Meta plugin that I know of was on mantisforge.org, which is
currently offline until Paul manages to bring it back or get the
backups/archives to someone else...

I need to install HgWeb plugin and it requires Meta Programming 0.1.

I searched in google and every site talk about meta points to

Is it moved to a new locaion?

<pre>So I discovered that the Ubunto package for this, that I got with
apt-get install mantis, isn't quite ready for prime time; at least in
terms of use with postgresql.

I downloaded the latest tarzip and the database setup appears to be a
manual operation. I copied the SQL from the output of the
admin/install.php, created an new mantis database and a mantis_user, and
then psql \i'd in the sql to populate the database with tables and indexes.

But then the issue comes down to privileges; the mantis_user has no
privileges on any table so the rest of the admin/install fails. Now, I
suppose I could grant privileges for user mantis_user to every table but
that's such a pain in the butt that I think there must be some better
way. Perhaps someone out there has a setup script? Or knows psql enough
to be able to move the whole database from the public schema to some
other aptly named mantis schema?

Does anybody out there have any insight to getting mantis working with
postgresql?

Thanks !!!

Have a look at
http://www.mantisbt.org/docs/master-1.2.x/en/administration_guide.html#ADMIN.CUSTOMIZE.ENUMS
(and also following example how to introduce a new custom status)

There is no need to change any of the existing files for such kind of
customizations.
You have to change a new file named custom_strings_inc.php

Is it possible to have a complete and stable integration of git/mantis

Thanks,

You can assign multiple projects to a user.

Goto manage user page
Click the user name
See display of page manage_user_edit_page with a list of unassigned projcts
Select the projects in the list that you want, choose access level, click "Add
User" button

This works for 1.1.x and 1.2.x

<pre>As far as I know, adding users manually is the only way, but I am still running 1.1.x. Ideally there should be a project menu available for each user account when you manage users.

Are all 140 really active right now? Maybe just start by adding all 5 to the most used projects. As you know you can add them at once using "Manage Projects".

Sorry couldn't help more.

Hi,

Quick Q we are using Mantis 1.2.4

I have had a request come in for 5 new users to be added with 'the same projects as me' where they are in 140 projects.

Traditionally I'd add them manually - but that is too many projects for too many people.

Am I missing the 'Clone User' or 'Copy projects from x' or add all sub projects button?
