Hi all,
I did some talking with Jim and Rich (or was it Rainer, I forget) during
ApacheCon, in which we agreed that we need to plug our modules directory
some more. I totally forgot all about this, but since it's never too
late to get something like this done, I am now contemplating adding a
link from our web site, httpd.apache.org, to modules.apache.org in the
navigation bar on the left side.

I don't see this as a big issue that needs a vote, so I'll let it simmer
for a while (standard 72 hours) and assume lazy consensus if I hear no
objections from you lot.

I think the connection and linking of the documents are also important
because the documents were made for human.

I'd support adding a note to
directive-dict.html#Syntax
or 
configuring.html#syntax

That says in general, quoted parameters can be used for values with spaces --
but against documenting it  specifically for rewritecond.

I'm not sure. I agree, that the internal maps are pretty unknown to a lot of 
people, but also I think, the simple mapping old -> new is the most common 
use case (at least for starters). Together with the random maps and given 
that mod_rewrite was initially used for load balancing, text maps may have 
been the first maps implemented (and therefore have been described first). 
But I'd need to check that.

Mostly this was a reaction to yet another "why didn't you tell me that first?" comment in a mod_rewrite training. If you disagree, I'd be glad to revert. I don't feel strongly about it.
